In Matt.6:33,it has been asked to seek first the kingdom of God & His righteousness.
In the opening verses of Matt.6,Jesus gives instructions regarding giving of alms,
praying &fasting. In the Lord's prayer,we are first asked to pray for the name of God to be glorified, for the kingdom of God to come&for the will of God to be done before making our personal petitions. It was said that king Amaziah did that which is right in the sight of the Lord but not with a perfect heart.(2 Chr.25:2)Our actions may be right, but with wrong motives. Both our motives & actions must be right.
